AIIMS PG 2021 Cut Off:
The cut off is the minimum mark required by the candidates to qualify the entrance exam. The cut off is decided by the exam conducting authorities for the selection of eligible candidates for any further procedure. The candidates have to secure the same or more than the cut off mark to be eligible for the counseling session.
AIIMS PG previous year Cutoff – Determination of Inter-Se Merit
AIIMS, New Delhi has prepared the rank wise wise merit list of the candidates who meet the requirement of AIIMS PG cutoff 2020. In case, where there is a tie, ie, two candidates obtain the exact same percentile, tie-breaking criteria are utilized. The determination of merit ranks of the candidates by employing the tie-breaking criteria is done in the following manner.
- Aggregate Score in the MBBS/BDS Examination: In case two candidates have obtained the exact same percentile in the AIIMS PG exam, the candidates with a higher score in MBBS/BDS examination will be preferred over the other.
- Age Factor: In case, the tie still remains unresolved, the candidate who is older in age will be preferred over the younger candidate.
Factors Affecting Cut-off:
There are several factors that affect Cut-off Determination. The Cut-off is determined by the Conducting Authority by taking into consideration, the number of students who have appeared the examination, the number of seats available for the particular college, previous year cut-off, and the difficulty level of the examination.
