10 Tips & Tricks for TANCET Preparation

Clear your concepts and basics

The first step is to have clarity of the concepts and knowing the basics. Unless you have your basics cleared, mock tests or learning will not be enough to prepare you for the test. One must practice the formula, rules of grammar and vocabulary regularly. If you have cleared your basics, then you will be able to solve any question in the exam. Ensure that you have practised all the topics as per the syllabus of TANCET 2021.

Know your strengths and weaknesses

The best way to know how well you are prepared for the exam is by taking the mock tests which are freely available in many sites. It will enable you to find those sections that are your strengths and weaknesses and also help you keep track of the time. You will be ableto plan a strategy to improve the weak areas in the syllabus.

Take mock tests

Practising mock tests will help you to become well prepared for the actual exam. Analyze the performance after taking every mock test. This will help you to measure the preparation level for the exam. You will be able to understand the strengths and weaknesses easily and work on them. Lack of clarity and making silly mistakes are two ways in which you lose out marks. For clearing the clarity, you need to study the basics well. For correcting the silly mistakes, practicing is the only way.

Practice Sample Papers

Practising the sample question papers is a good way for preparing for TANCET 2021. Hence, solve these sample question papers regularly so that you become aware of the types of questions that can come in the exam.

Focus on improving speed and accuracy

One needs to be fast and also be accurate to score good marks in the exam. Regularly practice the tests to increase your accuracy levels. This will also increase the speed levels at which you can solve the questions during the exam. Hence, you must attempt to solve as many questions to increase your chances of getting better marks.

Time Management

Prepare beforehand how much time you will devote to different sections of the exam. Read the question paper well and solve the ones that you are sure about. Solve the easy questions first and then try the tough ones. Since there is 1/3 marks deducted for incorrect answer, select the questions well.

Revision

Revision is important for TANCET like in the case for other exams. One must pay attention to the practising of theorems and formulas daily. One must make a note of the topics that you have studied till now. This will help one to revise the topics easily. For improving the vocabulary, prepare notes accordingly.

Do not start new topics

Do not begin to read or study new topics before the exam. Whatever you have studied till now, revise them well. Focus on the weak areas and improve them. Do not start something new as that will increase your stress and harm your preparation that you have done till now.

Clear exam day strategy

Have a clear strategy to crack TANCET 2021. You need to have a clear strategy to attempt the different sections of the exam. This will buy you enough time for each question. Sticking to this plan is very important. You can decide the strategy of the exam based on the marks scored in the mock test. Start with the sections you are confident and comfortable with.

Be confident

Maintain a good level of confidence. Increase your learning abilities and remain calm during the main exam. Becoming tensed will affect your performance in the exam.

These are some simple tips to keep in mind for preparing for TANCET 2021.
