IIT Kanpur has released the admission form for qualified candidates of JAM 2020(Joint Admission Test for M.Sc). Candidates can fill the form in the JOAPS portal and submit their choices of courses and IIT till 10 May 2020. Based on the test papers the candidate qualified, he/she can apply for one or more programme, considering the candidate meets the basic eligibility criteria. The admission form window was changed from April 9 - 22 to April 20 - May 10 due to the extension of the lockdown. The result of IIT JAM was released on 16th March 2020 by IIT Kanpur.

- Click on the link of "JOAPS Portal"
- Login by providing Enrolment ID / Email ID, Password, and Arithmetic Expression
- Provide your result details
- Make your choice of IIT and course
- Submit the Admission Form

Those candidates who are having problem in uploading their documents, have to fill an undertaking on the JOAPS portal, confirming that they will submit the missing document before the deadline. The undertaking has to be filled in capital letters, except for the signature. Candidates have to submit a filled, signed and scanned copy or a scan of the handwritten copy of the undertaking.
According to reports, 14,623 candidates have been able to make it to the JAM cut off this year, which is over 23%of the total appeared candidates. As per the report, a total of 73,360 candidates had registered for the examination, out of which only 62,654 candidates had finally taken the exam. This means that 10706 registered candidates decided to skip the examination, which is around 15% of the total registered candidates. In other words, around 85% of the registered candidates of JAM 2020 had appeared in the examination.
