MHT CET 2020 was scheduled to be held on 13th-17th April 2020 and 20th-23rd April 2020. However looking at the current situation of the pandemic and lock down of the country till 21 days( 15th April) as announced by PM Narendra Modi on 24th March 2020 to prevent the spread of the virus, the exam has been postponed. The Board exams have also been postponed to a later date due to the outbreak, so no entrance exam can be conducted in the due time. The Registrations for the exam started from 7th January 2020 and the last date of submitting the application form was 7th March 2020.
The conducting authority has declared the status of the examination officially and the new dates will be declared soon. We will update on further official announcements by the authority and it is advised that the students should keep a track.
MHT CET 2020 Eligibility:
- The Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
- There is no age limit to apply.
- The candidates must have qualified class HSC/12th or equivalent from a recognized board.
- The Candidates must have physics and mathematics as a compulsory subject along with one of the chemistry/biotechnology/biology/technical/vocational subjects.
MHT CET 2020 state level entrance exam is conducted by the Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell. This exam is a gateway to get admission in Engineering, Pharmacy and Pharm. D courses. It is also known as MHT CET, through which candidates can get admission in various government and private institutions of the state of Maharashtra.
