Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is a globally reputed Deemed-to-be University in India serving mankind since 1981. It is popularly known as SVKM’s NMIMS or NMIMS University. The primary campus of NMIMS University is at Vile Parle, West Mumbai and the sister campuses are in seven cities providing various UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses in around sixteen streams. More than 17000 students have enrolled in the university and there are about 750 full-time faculty members.

Admission Process & Eligibility Criteria:    

Interested candidates can register online at the official website of NMIMS followed by offline submission of the form. Here are some important points to keep in the mind during the admission process:

  • MBA aspirants must possess an NMAT GMAC entrance scorecard followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview held at Mumbai, Bengaluru/ Hyderabad (if required).
  • The final selection of MBA applicants is subjected to CD (Case Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview) scores.
  • Candidates who are interested in a Part-time MBA should have experience in the relevant field and for a Dual degree MBA course GMAT/ GRE score is needed.
  • Selection of Executive MBA depends upon the scores in educational qualification, academic record, work experience, written test, and personal interview along with the relevant work experience.
Degree Program  Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) Chemical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Computer & Communication Engineering (CCE), Data Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE),  Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Information Technology (IT), Mechatronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. 
  • Candidates who seek admission in the NMIMS B.Tech program are required to clear their 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as obligatory topics with at least 60% in step with cent aggregate.
  • In addition to this, applicants should qualify for the doorway to take a look at NPAT 2021. 
M.Tech (Master of Technology) in Environmental Engineering with specialization in Non-Sewered Sanitation, Structural Engineering, Communication Systems, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Engineering & Technology Information Security, VLSI and Embedded System Design, Manufacturing, and Computer-Aided Analysis & Design
  • Candidates who want to take admission in the NMIMS M.Tech program are required to finish their B.Tech with at least 50% marks at some stage in the degree.
  • In addition to this, applicants taking the GATE exam are given preference. 
B.Des - Interior Design, B. Des. - Fashion Design, B.Arch, BFA - Applied Arts
  • For a Bachelor of Architecture, a student needs to effectively clear the NATA examination and entire 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and arithmetic as obligatory topics with no less than 50% marks.
  • For B.Des.- Fashion Design, BFA - Applied Arts, and B.Des - Interior Design, a student needs to have finished 10+2 from any movement with no less than 50% marks.
Master of Architecture
  • Students who wish to apply for Master of Architecture admission are required to effectively complete their Bachelor diploma in architecture (B.Arch) or planning (B.Plan.) with at least 50% mixture and feature three hundred and sixty-five days of labor revel in publish-graduation.
B.Com. (Bachelor of Commerce), B.H.M, BBA Hospitality & Tourism Operations, BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration), and B.Com. (Hons)
  • To be eligible, candidates must have passed his or her 10+2 with any discipline with a minimum mark of 50%.
B.Com. (Hons)– Accounting
  • Students need to pass 12th with a minimum of 60% marks. 
MBA (Marketing, HR, Finance, IT & Analytics)
  • For admission in MBA, college students should have graduated with a Bachelor diploma from any field with not less than 50% 
  • The candidate should have cleared any national level exam namely (CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT).
M.Com Finance
  •  getting admission in M.Com Finance, applicants ought to have effectively finished a Bachelor's degree - B.Com or BBA with at least 50% marks.
B.Sc (Hons) - Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Psychology
  • To get admission in B.Sc (Hons) - Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Psychology students must have passed his/her 10+2 from the science discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. 
BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications)
  • For admission in BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications), applicants should have finished 10+2 from any area with at the very least 50% marks. 
M.Sc. Psychology
  • Candidates inquisitive about admission to this diploma program, are required to efficiently complete their B.sc diploma or associated course (Child psychology, psychiatry, academic psychology, counseling, psychotherapy)  with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.
MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
  • Candidates applying for the diploma program, required to efficiently complete their BCA diploma with a minimum of 50% marks.


Placement Records:

The NMIMS Mumbai has powerful training and placement cells. NMIMS Placement cell organizes commercial interactions and membership conferences to assist college students helping them expanding their all-spherical personalities. The NMIMS Mumbai Placement cell lets in candidates to expand their interpersonal skills. 

During the Placement drive, in the recent academic year, the Highest CTC was INR 15.3 LPA, where the Average CTC stood at INR 9.7 LPA and the Minimum CTC was INR 7 LPA. The highest salary package was offered to the Marketing students.
