  • Complementary Medicine - these courses introduce students to the wide range of alternative medical therapies that are used along with traditional medicine. Examples of these complementary treatments include massage therapy, meditation, chiropractic medicine, osteopathy and acupuncture.
  • Traditional Medicine- A course in traditional Chinese medicine is a part of higher education learning that focuses on traditional herbal sciences. This type of course will give students a new way to diagnose diseases and understand the healing process. Many parts of this type of course will focus on the uses of herbs and other old Chinese traditions to bring healing and wellbeing to patients as well as populations as a whole.

4. Allied Healthcare - this is a course about skilled care which is provided by medical professionals rather than doctors and nurses. Therefore, allied healthcare courses  include nutrition, radiation therapy, lab analysis, medical coding and billing, dental hygiene, and respiratory therapy. It includes medical assisting, radiology and assisting a physician.

  • Medical assisting- students are taught and trained how to best assist doctors and nurses in daily patient duties. Courses usually include examination techniques, coding and billing, and office procedures.
  • Radiology - this course gives knowledge about the practice of x rays and other medical imaging equipment for the diagnostic and healing purpose. 
  • Physician- this includes science, theory and practice . It includes diagnostics, communication with patients, interpreting lab results, administering and preparing treatments, and anatomy and physiology.

5 .Nursing studies- it focuses on providing medical care to families or individuals. The main goal is to promote a better and healthier quality of life. It has 3 categories - nursing, nursing assistant and registered nursing.

  • Nursing - this teaches students how to deal with the sick, disabled or dying patients by preventing illness and promoting health. This course covers the study of infant, pediatric, maternal and adult nursing.
  • Nursing assisting - it offers classes on nursing and health care. It emphasizes on learning to take care of patients and conducting medical tests to assist other medical professionals. 
  • Registered nursing - it provides nurses with the skills and credentials that are required for improving the health care of patients. Topics may include pharmacology, midwifery, effective communication, management techniques, surgical geriatric nursing, mental health nursing, sociocultural issues in illness, community health nursing, and scientific writing.
