This course covers various areas of business such as accounting, applied statistics, business ethics, business communication, finance, business law, managerial economics, management, entrepreneurship, supply chain and many more. Moreover, it is a highly valued degree designed to develop the skills required for careers in business and management. Students who are interested in this field have to go through the entrance exam. Here is some top MBA Entrance exams list:
1. CAT (Common Admission Test):
The Common Admission Test (CAT) is one of the most demanding entrance exams for MBA. The exam is held once in a year i.e towards the last week of November. Students can get admission into the topmost IIMs and MBA colleges like FMS Delhi, JBIMS Mumbai, SPJIMR Mumbai, MDI Gurgaon, IITs, XIMB, IMT,TAPMI & others carrying more than 5000 seats in India by clearing this entrance. Almost 2 lakhs applicants appear in this entrance every year. The test is conducted every year by one of the IIMs based on the rotation policy.

2. XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test):
Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is also one of the highest applied entrance exams after CAT. The entrance is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur every year holding 360 numbers of seats. The number of the applicant for XAT entrance is almost 90,000. The exam is held towards the 1st week of January.
3. MAT (Management Aptitude Test):
All India Management Association (AIMA) organizes Management Aptitude Test called MAT every year. Applicants can get admission into more than 600 business schools that require the MAT score by qualifying it. The exam is held 4 times in a year i.e in February, May, September, December. Around 20,000 applicants apply in every session. It has also both paper-pencil and computer-based exam options like CAT. The timing of the examination is during the 1st and 2nd week of the above mentioned 4 months.
4. CMAT (Common Management Aptitude Test):
The Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) is organized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Before, it was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Applicants can apply for more than 1500 B-school in India offering 35000 seats every year. The number of applicants increased up to 89,000 within 2012-2014. The exam is held during the 4th week of January.
5. SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test):
SNAP is organized by the Symbiosis International University (SIU) which has almost 15 B-schools offering 1900 seats under it. Students who want to get admission into the MBA course under Symbiosis International University can apply for SNAP entrance. The time of entrance is during the 3rd week of December.
6. IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Test):
Indian Institute of Foreign Test (IIFT) is India’s one of the most prestigious business school established by Government of India(ministry of commerce and industry) focusing on the country’s foreign trade management. Around 60000 candidates appear in the exam where the number of seats is 350-400 only. The timing of the exam is during Nov last week to Dec 1st week.
