Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the exam dates of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2020. The exam is conducted to offer admission in the first year of engineering, agriculture, pharmacy & various other courses. Various colleges and universities of Karnataka offer admission on the basis of KCET scores. Candidates need to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

For Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates, the authorities will conduct a Kannada Language Test in Bangalore on April 24, 2020 (11:30 AM to 12:30 PM).
Eligibility Criteria
For Engineering Courses:
1. The candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent education from a recognized board.
2. The candidate must have passed the exam with Physics, Mathematics & English as their major subjects.
3. The candidate must have scored at least 45% in Physics & another subject (From Chemistry/Computer science/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics). However, there is 5% relaxation in case of SC/ST categories.
For B. Pharma Courses:
1. The candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent education from a recognized board.
2. The candidate must have passed the exam with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, & Biology) / PCM (Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics) as their major subjects.
3. The candidate must have passed the exam with a minimum score of 50% (10% relaxation in case of SC/ST) in PCB stream.
