3- Every year nearly 2 lakh candidates register for the VIT engineering entrance exam for the admission to more than 5,000 seats available in 14 UG engineering streams (B.Tech) in Chennai and Vellore campus of VIT University.

4-The VIT University uses the Equating Method to predict the ranks of the candidates in VITEEE. VIT will calculate the percentile rank of the aspirant on the basis of his or her performance in the exam

Calculation of VITEEE Cut off

1- An equating method is used to calculate the rank of the aspirant.
