The National Board of Education is going to conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET-PG) 2021 on 18th April in online mode. It is the single entrance examination that candidates are seeking admission to various MD/ MS and PG Diploma courses. The candidates appearing for the exam should know the changes in the exam pattern and tie-breaking criteria if they score the same marks.
The number of questions has reduced to 200 and total marks reduced from 1200 to 800. The exam centers for the exam have increased to 255 from 165.

Tie-breaking Parameters:
If two or more candidates score the same then they can be selected on the following tie-breaking parameters :
- Candidates with a greater number of correct answers in the question paper will be placed at a better merit position.
- Candidates with a lesser number of negative answers in the question paper will be placed at a better merit position.
- Based on age those candidates who are older will be selected first.
- Candidates who will secure higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS Professional Examinations will be given preference.
