AIEE is conducted to shortlist aspirants for admission in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in agriculture and allied sciences. 

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has entrusted the responsibility of conducting All India Entrance Examinations for admission to UG Courses in AUs, and award of scholarships and fellowships to the NTA from 2021 onward.

ICAR AIEEA 2021 Admit Card

The e-Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to their satisfying the eligibility conditions. The candidate has to download the e-Admit Card from the NTA website and appear for the Exam at the given center on Date and Shift (Timing) as indicated in their e-Admit Card. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the exam center, on Date and Timings other than that allotted to them in their e-Admit Card. In case candidates are unable to download e-Admit Cards from the website, the candidate should approach the Help Line between 10:00 am to 05:00 pm.
The e-admit card will be uploaded on ICAR website during the specified period. The copy of admit card should be self-attested by the candidate. Without self attestation of photo as well as signature and putting thumb impression of the candidate on e-admit card, candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

  • Visit  the official website of ICAR
  • Click on the link ‘Admit Card’
  • Provide the required information like registration number, name and date of birth, etc.
  • Take print out of the Admit Card and preserve it for future references.
  • Candidates must attest the Admit Card from the gazette officer
  • It is necessary for candidates to attest photograph, signature and put thumb impression on the admit card.

Marking Scheme:

  • +4 for every correct answer
  • -1 for every wrong answer
  • 0 for every unanswered question

ICAR AIEEA Cut Off

The Cut off marks would be declared on after the ICAR AIEEA 2021 Examination for Admission. ICAR AIEEA 2021 cutoff is the minimum marks that show the qualifying status of the ICAR AIEEA test 2021 candidates for admission.

Undergraduate:

  • OBC candidates: 40 % Marks
  • General candidates: More than 50% Marks
  • SC/ST/PWD candidates:  12th class from PCM or  PCB

Post Graduate:

  • General candidates: 60% marks
  • OBC Students – 50 % Marks
  • SC/ST/PWD Candidates – 50% marks

Application form

Candidates are advised to read the information written in the brochure completely before proceeding to fill application form for AIEEA 2021. They will have to fill the application form through both online and offline mode.

Steps required to fill the online application form 

  • Go to the official website of ICAR i.e http://ntaicar.nic.in/
  • Select New Registration.
  • Choose course preference from and PG options.
  • Fill the required details in every section of the form, namely- Personal details, Subject group offered, Qualification details, Communication details.
  • After filling all the details and rechecking it properly, click on submit.
  • You will be directed to the payment page of the application form.
  • Pay fee by online payment gateway by entering your card details and then click on Pay Now.
  • After paying the fees take the printout of that application form.
  • Give the declaration in a handwriting proof on half white A4 size sheet.
  • This is the final step of the submission of the AIEEA Application Form 2021.
  • The computer- generated confirmation page of the online application and the proof of the fee payment should be attached and the hard copy should be sent through Speed post / Registered Post only at the following address.

Documents to be uploaded

  • Photograph: Upload the scanned photograph in the specifications given- 3.5*4.5 cm.
  • Signature: Browse and attach your digital signatures in these specifications -3.5*1.5 cm with file size of maximum of 50KB.

Steps Required to fill Offline Application Form

  • Obtain offline application form along with the information bulletin from Registrars of Agricultural Universities against cash payment or from the prescribed branches of Syndicate Bank.
  • The offline form will also be available in the eight institutions of ICAR by making the payment through the bank draft.
  • Fill it manually using blue/black ball point pen.
  • Paste the photograph, give the thumb impression and attest the documents by signing the application form in the given space.
  • After verifying all the form details, stamp it with the appropriate amount from the bank and send the application form on the following address.

Counseling

Category-wise final merit list is also be prepared after the declaration of the result. Students selected in this merit list will be called for AIEEA counselling. The list shall contain details of the candidate and the date when they need to appear for the counselling. The applicants will also have to fill the counseling form and they need to produce a copy of their Counselling intimation letter. Also, the fees for counseling and the rest of the documents as mentioned below are also important for the counseling purpose.
Each year, candidates who qualify ICAR AIEEA are much larger in number as compared to the seats available for admission. All candidates who meet the below mentioned criteria are called for ICAR AIEEA counselling:

  • General/UPS category candidates who have secured 50% marks
  • SC/ST/PC category candidates who have secured 40% marks

ICAR AIEEA Counselling process

Step 1: Registration
As the first step, candidates need to register themselves on the official website of ICAR. Once successfully registered, candidates will be able to log in to the online counselling portal of the exam by using their login ID and password. The registration fee (non-refundable) for ICAR AIEEA 2021 counselling is Rs 400. Candidates can pay the registration fee in online mode through payment gateway of ICAR by using credit card/ debit card/ net banking.   

Step 2: Choice Filling
Once registered, candidates need to login to the AIEEA counselling portal and make their choice for courses/ universities in which they want to secure admission. It may be noted that only those courses and universities wil be displayed on the portal whose eligibility requirements are met by the candidate. Once the choice selection is completed, candidates need to save their choices. It may be noted that candidates can update their choices any number of times on the portal before the last date/ choices are locked by candidates. If the choices are not locked by candidates, their last saved choices will be automatically locked by the system. 

Step 3: Seat Allotment
Once the choices are locked, candidates will be allotted seats in their preferred course and university on the basis of merit and availability of seats. The candidates will be informed about their alloted seats through email/ SMS. 

Step 4: Verfication of Documents
Candidates alloted seats can then download their provisional admission letter from the counselling portal. Thereafter, they need to report at the allotted university without fail along with all the prescribed documents. The university will verify all the documents and thereafter will issue a final admission letter to candidates. 

AIEEA Counselling Documents

  • Candidates need to produce a list of documents in original and set of self attested photocopies of each of the following:
  • All certificates and mark sheets/grade reports, in original of Class 10th and 12th
  • Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate
  • Character Certificate from the School last attended.
  • SC, ST and non-creamy layer of OBC categories have to provide original Certificate as per Central Govt. requirements and issued by Competent Authority.
  • In case of Physically Challenged (PC) candidates have to provide a medical certificate issued by Medical Officer of any Government Hospital with description of the kind and the degree of disability.
  • Birth Certificate, in case if Date of Birth is not mentioned in the Class 10th certificate.
  • e- Admit Card in original
  • Counselling call/invitation letter from ICAR in original.
  • Three recent colored passport size photographs with name and date same as the one submitted on the application form.
  • Domicile certificate.
  • Authority letter/undertaking if the candidate is unable to attend the counseling personally.

Result

NTA will conduct the exam in June tentatively and candidates can check AIEEA results on the official website of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The result for the ICAR AIEEA exam is declared both merit-wise as well as category-wise. ICAR result is declared online only. As part of the ICAR AIEEA result, candidates are provided with their overall merit rank as well as their category rank. Candidates will be called for counseling on the basis of their AIEEA results.

Answer Key  

NTA has published the provisional answer key of AIEEA on its website. Answer key of AIEEA will be available in online mode only. The authority will publish the answer key for all four sets A, B, C & D. Along with the answer key, candidates will also able to download the question paper of all sets. If candidates are not satisfied with the answer key the authority will open a window to challenge the answer key. Candidates will have to send the answer only in the stipulated time period.

Challenging ICAR AIEEA 2021 Answer Key

  • Candidates who will not be satisfied or have discrepancy regarding ICAR AIEEA 2021 answer key may challenge it. The link for challenging the answer key will be made available on the website of ICAR.
  • Candidates will have to fill online application form and will have to pay Rs 1000/- per question. The challenge fee will be paid through online mode such as credit/debit card or net banking.
  • The fee once paid will not be refundable. If challenge will be accepted by the council, then the fee for each accepted challenge will be refunded to the candidate. A refund will be made through online mode to the concerned credit/debit card or net banking account.

1. Nationality: Applicant must be an Indian.

2. Qualifying Examination: 

  • Minimum qualification required is 10+2 from a recognized board. The last two years of 10+2 should be studied with Physics, Chemistry and any one of the subjects amongst Biology/ Mathematics/ Agriculture/Home Science.
  • Those who studied intermediate with Agriculture and not with Physics and Chemistry will be eligible for admission in some SAUs in the State of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
  • Candidates who wish to opt stream-A in the entrance exam must have necessarily passed intermediate with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Agriculture/Home Science subjects. Stream-B aspirants have to pass the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
  • Intermediate with home science candidates will be eligible for admission into limited AUs.

3. Minimum Marks: Candidates who belong to GEN, UPS (Under Privileged State) and OBC categories should have passed 10+2 examination with 50% aggregate marks (40% in case of SC/ST/PC).

4. Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination (10+2) are also eligible to apply.
