NEET Cut-Off for Top Medical Colleges in Andhra Pradesh

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Andhra Pradesh releases the NEET cut-off every year for admission into MBBS degree at various Medical colleges of Andhra Pradesh. The cut-off is the minimum rank/mark required to participate in the admission process. The NEET Cut-off for Andhra Pradesh is released for 85% seats in government medical colleges and 100% seats in private medical colleges of Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra Pradesh MBBS admissions are organized by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) Andhra Pradesh.Native candidates of Andhra Pradesh can take admission under the 85% seats reserved for regional students. Whereas, students from other states who seek admission in AP medical colleges can apply under the all-India quota. 

Andhra Pradesh NEET Cut-Off:

The NEET cut-off is of two types:

  • All India Quota (15%)
  • State Quota (85%)

For All India Quota (AIQ) seats, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the conducting authority (Which is also responsible for the cut-off for AIQ seats). For State Quota seats, the cut-off is determined by the individual State conducting authority (Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for Andhra Pradesh)

NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is the only entrance exam for MBBS degree admission into all of India's govt. and private medical colleges. The NEET 2020 exam was conducted on 13th September at 2546 exam centres across 155 cities in the country. The exam is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based test) for a duration of 3 hours with maximum marks of 720.
