TSCHE postponed EAMCET, ECET and PGECET again till June, Check the Details

TS EAMCET 2020 exam date has been postponed considering the extension of lockdown,Registration for TS EAMCET till May 15, the revised dates for the exam are yet to be announced. The exam was scheduled for May 4, 5 and 7, 2020 for the Engineering program and May 9 and 11 for Agricultural Program. TS EAMCET 2020 Application Process has been further extended, candidates can now register for TS EAMCET ( Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical (Pharmacy, Veterinary etc.,) Common Entrance Test ) till  May 15, 2020. Last date for submission of Online Applications without Late Fee is extended upto 15-05-2020 in view of the COVID-19 lockdown.

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) postponed EAMCET, ECET and PGECET again till June and  will be conducting the common entrance tests tentatively in June. The exam had been postponed earlier due to COVID-19 and the nationwide lockdown till May 3, 2020. However, Telangana is under lockdown till May 7, 2020.

  1. payment of application fee,
  2. filling of application form,
  3. printing filled in application form and knowing the payment status.
  4. Candidates must submit their applications before the last date.

Candidates can apply for all common entrance tests till May 15, 2020 in online mode. The correction facility for the submitted application forms will be available from May 6 to 11, 2020. The complete schedule will soon be released by the authorities. The authorities will conduct TS EAMCET for admissions into undergraduate engineering programmes and TS PGECET is for postgraduate engineering courses. TS ECET is conducted for lateral entry into the second year of the undergraduate engineering programmes.

TSCHE Chairman T Papi Reddy spoke to The New Indian Express regarding the upcoming examination and explained that the authorities will take about three weeks to conduct all the CETs after the application process is over. Therefore, there are chances of the examination being conducted in mid week of June 2020 if lockdown is not further extended by the government authorities
