PGIMER(Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research) 2020 July session is going to be held tomorrow i.e. on the 14th of July by Chandigarh. The seats available are 295 for Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD). The examination will be held in the computer-test mode in 41 centers. The admit card was previously available on the 8th of June.
Post Graduate Institute of Medical, Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh is an Institute of National Importance which offers undergraduate and postgraduate medical training in various fields. In addition to it, PGIMER also offers super-specialist courses viz. DM/ M.Ch and research program (Ph.D.) in selected disciplines.
It became necessary for the authority to conduct the exam on the given date as on June 9, 2020, the current batch is about to complete their post-graduation period on June 30 and patient care in a hospital cannot be compromised. PGI Chandigarh has set some safety guidelines, which must be followed to avoid any unwanted circumstances later.
Safety Guidelines are as follows:
Face Mask- All the aspirants are asked to wear the facemask without which they are not allowed to enter the examination hall
Avoid Crowd Outside the Exam Centres- Candidates must maintain asocial distance thus avoiding crowding outside the examination hall
Aarogya Setu App- Aspirants also need to download the Aarogya Setu App on their mobile phones.
Hand hygiene- All aspirants shall properly sanitize their hands before entering the hall. Provisions for thermal scanning, hand wash, and sanitizers are also made at all the centers.
No Personal Belonging- Candidates are not permitted to take anything in the examination hall other than the PGIMER 2020 although it's mentioned in the admit card
No close contact- Aspirants are advised to keep a certain amount of distance to each other and avoid any close contact.
