GATE 2020 answer key objection submission process begins today. The provisional answer keys of all paper for GATE 2020 exam was released yesterday and students who appeared for the exam can submit any objection on the same starting today. The link to submit objection will be activated at 11 am today i.e. February 19, 2020 and will remain available on the website till 6 pm on February 21, 2020.
"The candidates can contest/challenge the answer key of any question after giving their justification and a payment of Rs. 500 (for each question) through the online payment link available in the GOAPS. Contests will be considered only if the payment is completed successfully," says IIT Delhi in a notice on the GATE 2020 website.
Step by Step procedure to Contest GATE 2020 Answer Key:
1- Visit the official website GOAPS
2- Enter your Enrollment ID / Email Address
3- Enter your GOAPS password.
4- Go to the contest portal.
5- Enter the question number exactly same as per mentioned in the PDF file of the question paper uploaded on the GATE 2019 website.
6- Write your justification.
7- Students must mention the section name and question number in the document in case of uploading any document to support their justification.
8- Pay Rs. 500 (for each question) through the online payment link available in the GOAPS.
10- Click on the submit button.

If a candidate's objection is accepted, the fee submitted by them will be refunded to their account.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or commonly known as GATE is an annual entrance examination which is jointly administered by IISc Bangalore and seven IITs. On the basis of GATE scores, the candidates can obtain qualification for M.E./M.Tech admissions and PSU recruitments.
