The GATE 2020 exam for Electrical Engineering discipline has been successfully conducted across the nation in the forenoon session (9:30 AM-12:30 PM) today.The third day for GATE 2020 exam.According to the students who attempted the Electrical Engineering paper of GATE 2020, the paper was moderate to tough in difficulty level.
Most of the questions were from Electrical Machines, followed by Signals and Systems and Power Electronics. Around 14 questions were difficult in nature while the others were mostly of average difficulty. The most difficult questions were from Analog Electronics. Questions were not directly but candidates had to think creatively. There were a total of 24 NAT (Numerical Answer Type) questions in the exam. The power system carried the maximum mark weightage of 13 marks. 1 question was included from microprocessor subject which was unexpected. Expected cutoff is around 24 - 25
