Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is a private academic institution based in the town of Manipal, Karnataka. There are also sister campuses in Sikkim and Jaipur. Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), founded in 1953 in Manipal, Karnataka. It offers UG and PG programs with even more than 300 specialisations in the fields of science, medicine, culture, technology, media and architecture.

Admission to MAHE

  • Application form for MUOET-based and other programs can be done online on the official page of MAHE. 
  • UG level admission: BBA, BPharm, PharmD and BA (Media & Communication) courses at are offered on the basis of the MUOET exam. 
  • Post-graduate admission MSc (Medical), ME, MTech, MSc (Nursing), MPharm, PharmD (PB) and other MSc courses are also based on MUOET scores.
  • Admission to MA (Media & Communication) and MA (Film Making & Film Art) is also based on the score of MUOET accompanied by GD and PI 
  • BArch admission is rendered on the basis of a valid score in JEE (Paper-II) or NATA
  • Applicants must qualify NEET-UG for admission to the MBBS and BDS courses. 
  • Valid scores in NEET PG, NEET SS and NEET MDS are required for admission to MD/MS, DM/MCh and MDS. 
  • MBA admission is based on a valid score in MAT/CMAT/CAT or XAT followed by GD and PI.

Eligibility Criteria For 

  • Aeronautical Engineering
  • Biotechnology
  • Civil Engineering
  • Computer Science & Engineering
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+2 or similar of Astronomy, Mathematics and English as obligatory subjects, along with Biotechnology or Chemistry or Biology, along with other professional courses subjects as different courses or 
  • Minimum of 50 per cent marks taken all together subjects in Physics, Arithmetic and any of the different courses.
  • For Lateral Entry (All specialisations)
  • BSc Degree, with 12th-grade mathematics, from a well-known institution with a minimum of 45 per cent composite marks or equivalent.
  • For B. Arch

To pass class 12 from a recognised board with mandatory subjects like Mathematics and English with a minimum of 50%

Procedure to apply

  • Visit the https:/apply.manipal.edu/mu/admission/login.html page. 
  • Log in with your email ID and phone number. 
  • User Id and Password will be created 
  • Sign in with the certificate and fill in the registration form. 
  • Enter your personal and academic information. 
  • Make a payment of INR 600/-or INR 1400/-for entry test. 
  • Send the online application and print it out for future references

Documents must be submitted at the time of application

  • Require the Card Scorecard or the Rank Email 
  • Grade 10, 12 and Graduate Marks and Diploma sheets (also used for DOB verification) 
  • Proof of authentic photo ID (Aadhar/PAN card/passport licence) 
  • Photographs in Passport dimensions 
  • Provisional letter of allocation 
  • Certificate of Caste/PwD (if applicable)
