Fashion and Apparel Design programs are designed to aim at a detailed study of the Fashion Industry ranging from textile making, designing, production, and marketing.  Over the course period, students will be taught about technical aspects, designs, and management skills to the advanced levels to meet the current industry requirement. This course aims at developing excellent craftsmen for the industry. After successful completion of the course, students can gather an insight into the existing working environment and culture of the industry.

During this course, students are encouraged to participate in various fashion shows. These shows are generally organized and managed by the famous fashion brands or the students themselves.

Admission Process:

The admission process here generally varies across the colleges here. Most institutes offering the course prefer to admit students based on the performance in the relevant entrance test often followed with a round of personal interviews. Here there is admission is based on the general aptitude for the course which is tested. A few of the institutes also provide direct admission based on the candidate’s performance at the 10+2 level.
