Boeing India has partnered with KIIT & few other important institutions of India
to launch University-Focussed Innovation Programme. Being a major multinational corporation Boeing has taken a new initiative by launching University - Focussed Innovation Programme also known as Boeing University Innovation Leadership Development (BUILD) program. In this program, KIIT Bhubaneshwar, IIT Delhi, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IISc Bangalore &
one of India's largest incubator for startups, T-Hub Hyderabad have also partnered with Boeing for Indian university students, faculty & early stage start-ups to turning innovative ideas into profitable business offerings for a greater future of aerospace & defence.
Fields that are open for Application Submission:
- Materials
- Aerospace
- Autonomous vehicles
- Advanced manufacturing
- Augmented and virtual reality
- Robotics and the Internet of Things
- Analytics (artificial intelligence and machine learning)
As the President of Boeing India, Salil Gupte says:

The application submission is open till June 10 for all the fields mentioned above. The competition will be held between the shortlisted teams on the regional level. The finalists will require to represent their ideas before a panel of subject-matter expert on the Boeing Innovation Day which is scheduled to be held in September 2019. The winner prize is decided to be in cash.
