Admission Process:

There are 6 schools, 8 departments, and 8 centers under the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology for offering various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programs. Admission to these courses is done on the basis of marks scored in the last qualifying examinations. Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology offers a huge number of programs at the UG level like BE/BTech degree, at PG levels such as MCA, MBA, ME, MTech, M.A. Psychology and Integrated BE-MBA degrees and the doctoral level courses like Ph.D. degrees. It has a Center for Industrial Liaison and Placement (CILP) which is responsible for facilitating placement drives at TIET.
