General Medicine Eligibility:

The basic eligibility criteria for General Medicine courses differ from college to college with a little modification. Candidates are required to fulfil the common eligibility criteria to get admission into the General Medicine are mentioned below:

  • Students should have passed Class 10+2in science stream subjects which are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • Candidates also must have studied English as the main subject in their Class 10+2/Senior Secondary.
  • At the time of their admission, candidates need to fulfil the age limit criterion which is that they must be at least 17 years of age.

General Medicine Salary:

The average monthly salary offered to a successful General Medicine doctor of the course varies between INR 3 and 12 lakhs. A mid-career Doctor/ Physician, general practice with 5-8 years of experience earns an average total compensation of INR 7 – 8 lakhs. An experienced Doctor/Physician, general practice with 10-17 years of experience earns an average total compensation of INR 9 – 10 lakhs.
