Experts suggest, that in the last week of exam preparation, candidates must focus mainly on revision and tying up loose ends. With the next top MBA entrance exam MAH CET MBA approaching soon Here we share important last week's preparation tips. Read Below.

MAH BHMCT CET 2020: Last Week Preparation Tips

1. Do not start a new topic

The first and foremost advice any expert will give is, not to begin a new topic or chapter. There can’t be the worst time than a week before exam to begin a new chapter. One cannot master a topic in one week while practicing scores of others. Thus, don’t do that. Practice what you have studied so far.

2. Make a time table for revision

The last week's MAH CET preparation plan should include focused revision. For that, make a plan. Set aside an hour to revise important concepts and formulae. The best time for revision is late night or early morning. Make short notes while you are at it.

3.Focus on weak areas

Go through the MAH CET syllabus and list down the topics you still find tough to crack. Dedicate one hour every day in the last week to understand the concepts, make notes, and practice sample questions. This will be helpful as they will be fresh in the memory. Use notes made during practice sessions, for revision on the exam day.

4.Practice sample questions

By now you must have practiced enough number of MAH CET sample papers and mock tests to know your preparation level. In the last one week, take sectional mock tests, especially of the sections you are weak at. You can also practice topic-wise sample questions to improve your performance in individual areas.

5.Assess your performance

After each MAH CET mock test or sample question assess, time is taken, and accuracy achieved. This will give you a clear picture of topics you need to capitalize or ignore in the actual exam. If you think, there is room for improvement, reach out to peers and mentors to find out tricks and shortcuts to tackle weak areas.

6. Make short notes for exam day revision

Revision should include writing down formulae and important points. Jot down all the key points, tricks, and shortcuts for solving questions. This will be extremely helpful in the Quantitative Aptitude section. You should also write down a one-word definition of concepts and usage in Grammar. Go through these notes a night before the exam so that they are fresh in your memory.

7.Focus on balancing speed and accuracy

Mock test practice would have increased your speed and accuracy in solving questions. But since the actual exam is a week away, one needs to ensure they utilize each second of the time allotted. In the last one week of MAH CET 2020 preparation, take each mock test as the actual exam. Select each question carefully, do not spend more time than allotted on each question. Ensure you develop an eye of selecting questions that are easy and scoring. This skill will be very helpful in choosing the right questions in the actual exam.

MAH CET Mock Tests and Previous Year’s Question Paper

MAH CET preparation is incomplete without the mock tests. To know how well you are prepared for the exam, you need to practice mock tests or previous years’ MAH CET question papers. Solving MAH CET mock test series will help you identify your weak areas while previous years question papers will provide practice of the actual exam. Given below are some key tips about the MAH CET mock test.

  1. Try to solve one mock test every day to assess your progress vis-a-vis revision.
  2. After completing every mock test, evaluate your performance. Pay extra attention to weak areas and if required modify your MAH CET preparation plan.
  3. Take mock tests as seriously as the actual MAH CET exam. Time yourself for each section. Analyze how many minutes do you take for solving each section and how can you reduce the time taken.
  4. To improve accuracy, practice sectional mock tests of MAH CET. There is no sectional time limit in MAH CET, thus it is imperative that you develop the skill of managing time on your own.
  5. In the last one month of MAH CET preparation, devote maximum time on revision, and practicing the mock test.
