All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is a university-level entrance exam for admission to B.A. LL.B (Hons.), LL.M, and Ph.D. programs. This is a national-level exam that is conducted once a year for various law courses. The exam helps candidates get admission into various UG and PG law courses at National Law University, Delhi. National Law University Delhi (NLU-Delhi) is a specialized law university offering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It is one of the elite national law schools in India built on the five-year law degree model proposed and implemented by the Bar Council of India.

AILET 2021 Admit Card
National Law University will release the admit card of AILET 2021 (All India Law Entrance Test) on 5th June 2021 officially for registered candidates. To download the admit card, candidates have to log in, select the test city and its corresponding test center. No hard copy of the admit card will be sent to the candidate via post. Candidates must make their top priority to take a printout of the admit card to the examination hall as it is a mandatory document.

AILET 2021 Syllabus
Syllabus for English:
English section will include the questions from vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, word usage, Para jumble, grammar, reading comprehension, and foreign words/ phrases, etc.
Syllabus for Legal Aptitude:
In this section, important topics are, strict liability, the law of crimes, torts, vicarious liability, contracts, and constitutional law, legal awareness and international law, etc.
Syllabus for Reasoning:
Logical reasoning will be based on the topics series, directions, syllogism, analogies, blood relations, critical reasoning, etc.
Syllabus for GK and Current Affairs:
This section will include questions from current affairs, sports, awards and honors, internal events, UN bodies, history, general science, economics, geography, civics, eminent personalities, etc.
Syllabus for Mathematics:
In this section, the candidate’s knowledge of elementary Mathematics, that is, Maths taught up to Class X will be tested.

AILET 2021 Cut-off
Candidates need to meet AILET cutoffs to secure admission in all the programs in law offered at National Law University (NLU). After the AILET results are declared, NLU Delhi releases separate merit lists informing about the name and other details of candidates selected for admission. This merit list is released marks-wise, roll number-wise and category-wise. The AILET cut-off comprises the minimum mark a candidate has to secure in order to get admission into the law programs offered by NLU Delhi. The cut-off varies from category to category.

Interested candidates should apply online on payment of application fee of Rs.3,050/-(Rupees Three Thousand Fifty Only). Application fee can the case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability (PWD) is Rs.1,050/-(Rupees One thousand Fifty Only). Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of the SC/ST category are exempted from the application fees.

AILET 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) (Five-Year Programme)
Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2) or equivalent examination in any discipline with 50% marks. Students appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April 2017 can also apply.
Age: Applicants should be below 20 years while appearing the exam (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates). Class 12th appearing candidates are also allowed to apply for the exam.
LL.M. (One year)
Eligibility: Aspirants should complete LL.B. or an equivalent degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability). Candidates appearing in the final year exam of LL.B are also eligible to register for AILET 2018 exam.
Ph.D. Programme
Eligibility: Applicants having an LL.M. Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability) are eligible for the examination.
