The Odisha State Government has announced the 7days home quarantine norms for people coming from 5 high-risk States has exempted for (Railway Requirement Board)RRB candidates. Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, PK Mohapatra has said in a letter that "A person establishing his/her identity with a copy of the RRB examination admit card will be exempted from the home quarantine requirement, but strict COVID appropriate behavior should be adhered to by all candidates appearing in the examination." When the Chairman of RRB, Bilaspur was informed that around 10,500 candidates are scheduled to appear for the exam, then the Odisha state government has decided to relax the home quarantine norms and it will be not applicable for the candidates coming from the high-risk state. RRB said that the admit card has been issued earlier.
Recently State Government had decided that people coming from the 5 high-risk states- Maharastra, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, and Chhattisgarh will complete the 7 day home isolation due to the raise of COVID-19 cases. Those passengers who have an RT-PCR negative report or a Covid vaccination final certificate are exempted for the 7 days home isolation.
