Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech)/ Bachelor of Engineering (BE)

Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology is the most sought-after undergraduate course that involves theory, experimentation, engineering science, and technology application for the development of machines, software, and systems. This course has got more than hundreds of fields that can be specialized on like computer science, civil, electronics, and mechanical.

The total course duration is 4 years and students can apply to this course after passing class 12th in science stream with PCM subjects. And also candidates need to clear entrance exams like JEE mains, JEE Advance, etc. to enroll into the colleges.

Salary offered initially: INR 3 – 5 LPA

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

MBBS degree is a 5 - 6 years integrated course with a one-year internship. In India, NEET is the entrance exam through which candidates can take admission into the MBBS course offered at both government and private colleges. 
Students who want to take admission to this course must have cleared their higher secondary examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. MBBS students can practice as doctors in the same medical college or open their own health firm or a private clinic after completing the course.

Salary offered initially: INR 6 – 9 LPA

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)

Bachelor of Dental Surgery is the second most popular course after MBBS in India. The course duration is 5 years. Candidates need to qualify NEET to apply for medical courses. Candidates can practice as a licensed dentist after completing their five-year of BDS in the government and private sectors.

Salary offered initially: INR 4 – 5 LPA

Bachelor of Law (LLB)

Two types of courses are there in the field of Law, one with 3 years and another one with 5 years duration. Candidates can choose this field after the 12th class. Bachelor of Law (LLB) is a 3-year course made for students in the law field, and students have to qualify for CLAT, LSAT, or AILET entrance examinations to take admission into this course.

Lawyers can work in various fields and they can be specialized as a Civil Litigation Lawyer, Criminal lawyer, Document Drafting lawyer, Legal Advisor, Legal journalist, Government Lawyer and can also work as Judge. After graduation, candidates can start their legal career by practicing as an intern with any senior lawyer or practicing as a public prosecutor, legal advisor, public prosecutor, or tax lawyer.

Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch)

Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) is a 5-years full-time degree course with a format of practical and theoretical knowledge in learning the art of designing, planning, and construction of several physical structures. 

A student needs to appear for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or JEE exams to get admission into this course. Students who have done their class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible to appear for the NATA.

Salary offered initially: INR 4 – 8 LPA

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) is an undergraduate course that is provided by most colleges after class 12th. The course duration is of three years with six semesters, and this course is provided in several specializations, such as Marketing, Finance, and HRM that are considered as the main specializations.

Salary offered initially: INR 2 – 4 LPA

Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA)

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) is a 3-year full-time under-graduation course that deals with computer languages which can take you towards Information Technology fields. Candidates who want to work in the world of computers and their techniques can opt for this field. 

It is a computer application program that totally covers computer science studies and their applications. The graduates of BCA can apply for various software companies in India and for plenty of opportunities for getting paid well.

Bachelor of Animation

Bachelor of Animation is a 3-year undergraduate course that is offered by very few colleges and universities. Basically, it is a form of creative art that unfolds an illusion of motion and displays stable images in the form of a film. This course demands technical skills to create a career in animation and strong creative skills in arts and design where students can be placed in Cartoon Production, Animation, Video Gaming, etc. in several fields like in Film & Television.
