Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) releases the NEET cut-off every year for admission into Karnataka MBBS degree at various Medical colleges of Karnataka. The cut-off is the minimum rank required to participate in the college's admission process. The NEET Cut-off for Karnataka is released for 85% seats in government medical colleges and 100% seats in private medical colleges of Karnataka.
The cut-off is for two types, All India Quota (15%) and State Quota (85%). For state quota seats the conducting authority is KEA and for All India Quota seats, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the conducting authority (Which is also responsible for the cut-off for AIQ seats).
NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is the biggest and only entrance exam for MBBS degree admission into all India's govt. and private medical colleges. The NEET 2020 exam was conducted on 13th September at 2546 exam centres across 155 cities in India. The exam is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based test) with maximum marks of 720 for a duration of 3 hours.
