NISER Bhubaneshwar along with UM-DAE CEBS has extended the NEST 2020 application submission date till April 19. Candidates can fill and submit the NEST application form 2020 in online mode only. Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria before filling the NEST application form failing which their admission will get cancelled. Candidates need to first register themselves on the official website. After registration has been done, candidates need to fill up the NEST application form with personal, academic and contact details and then remit the application fee via net banking/credit/debit card, etc. The date for admit card release will soon be announced on the official website. National Entrance Screening Test will be conducted on June 6, 2020 across 91 different exam centres.
How to fill NEST Application Form 2020
Step 1: Registration
- Visit the official link - nestexam.in
- Click on the “ Online Application ” tab
- Afterwards, the registration form can be accessed.
- Candidates need to fill the registration form with their name, contact details, and roll number.
Step 2: Login
- Candidates need to click on the link sent via email.
- A candidate login page will open up.
- Submit the user ID and password received via SMS.
- Click on “login” button
Step 3: Personal Details and Educational Qualification
After logging in, candidates have to fill the application form of NEST 2020 with details such as name, date of birth, exam city preferences, roll no./registration no.mobile number and email ID.
Step 4: Application Fee Payment
National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. Both NISER and UM-DAE CEBS were set up by Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India in 2007. Their mandate is to train scientific manpower for carrying out cutting edge scientific research and for providing input to scientific programmes of Department of Atomic Energy and other applied science institutions in the country.
