They take images of the heart and its peripheral blood vessels through a variety of invasive and non-invasive techniques. They are hired at large by both government and private hospitals, as well as for emergency medical services. They are hired by the numerous diagnostics and testing centres across the country that perform procedures, such as an electrocardiogram (EKG), phonocardiogram, echocardiogram, and stress testing, among other non-invasive cardiac procedures.
