Cardiac Care Technicians assist Cardiac surgeons in diagnosing and treating heart diseases. They take images of the heart and its peripheral blood vessels through a variety of invasive and non-invasive techniques. They are hired at large by both government and private hospitals, as well as for emergency medical services. They are hired by the numerous diagnostics and testing centres across the country that perform procedures, such as an electrocardiogram (EKG), phonocardiogram, echocardiogram, and stress testing, among other non-invasive cardiac procedures.

The salary can range to anything between 2 and 20 LPA for a fresher and goes up to 50 LPA for those with a little more experience.

They are spread across metro cities such as Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, etc. as well as smaller towns and cities such as Ludhiana, Salem, Madurai, and many more.
