The 6th Convocation of Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (Deemed to be University) was held on 16th November 2019 (Saturday) at 3.00 PM in the University Auditorium, Campus-II, Sector-8, Kalinga Nagar, Bhubaneswar. The Degrees of Ph.D. and Medals (UG/PG) for the passed out batches 2017-18 and 2018-19 were awarded to candidates declared qualified for the same on the basis of the results of examinations.
The candidates who intended to receive the Degrees/Medals in person at the Convocation had to register on or before 11th November 2019 (Monday) by making an application to the Director (Admissions) with a Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) only drawn in favor of Siksha‘O’Anusandhan University payable at Bhubaneswar or online payment.
The dress code assigned for the convocation were:
1. Male: Normal Indian dress with white full sleeve shirt, dark color trousers, and formal shoes.
2. Female: light color saree, salwar, kameez with formal shoes.
The participation registration, attendance in rehearsal and the dress code were mandatory for each student intending to attend the convocation. Any student failing to fulfill these criteria were not permitted to attend the convocation.
