NTA successfully conducted Day 3 of JEE Main 2020 for both the shifts. Both the exams of 3rd September JEE Main was for Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech). Shift 1 was from 9 AM - 12 PM and Shift 2 was from 3 PM - 6 PM. The Overall exam was moderately difficult. The chemistry was easy, Maths was moderate to difficult, and Physics was the most difficult among all. Most of the questions were from the NCERT syllabus of class 11th and 12th.
Around 7,46,115 students have applied for Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) for JEE Main 2020 April/September which will be conducted from 2 - 6 September. The whole JEE Main will be conducted from 1 - 6 September where on 1st September B.Arch and B.Plan papers were conducted. Check the exam analysis for Day 3 of JEE Main 2020 below:
Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) Analysis for 3rd September:
Physics:
- Physics was the hardest of all three as the questions from numerical were lengthy and tricky
- 20 MCQs and 5 Numerical questions were asked
- The AC Circuit question was very lengthy
Mathematics
- Mathematics was moderately difficult and most of the questions were from previous year's papers
- 20 MCQs and 5 Numerical questions were asked in this section
- Questions came from Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Algebra, and other topics
- All numerical questions were lengthy
Chemistry:
- Chemistry section was easy and very easy to understand & answer
- 20 MCQs and 5 Numerical questions were asked
- Questions from Electro Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Organic & Inorganic chemistry
- Few fact-based questions from NCERT were asked
