Many students have the time and they start preparing for the GATE exam so that they can get enrolled in IITs and NITs for pursuing degrees like MS in Engineering or M. Tech. They even take coaching classes so that they can pass the exam with great grades. However, there are students who want to get enrolled in these institutions for pursuing similar courses but could not sit for the GATE exam. These students look for ways with the help of which they can get in IITs and NITs with no GATE score.

Candidates who are Sponsored

There are many candidates who have been working in the industry for a period of more than three years. If that is the case, then the employer can allow you to study and this will pave your way to getting admitted in IITs or NITs. The employer can provide you with letters from an authority that will enable you to get a seat kept reserved in IITs and NITs for such cases. The individuals, however, must also have completed their B.Tech degree with the minimum marks required for qualifying to study this program.

Seats under the Quality Improvement Program (QIP)

This has been devised by the Government of India for the improvement of the quality of the teachers employed in the different colleges in states. This will help the teachers to get a chance to study in India’s renowned and popular engineering institutions. The teachers who have acquired more than three years of experience can apply for this program and get enrolled in IITs or NITs.

Exam conducted by IITs and NITs

The IITs also conduct an exam for getting the students admitted to their educational institution. The eligibility criterion is they must have passed their B.Tech and a CGPA of 8 or more. If you have not completed your GATE exam, you can try to pass this test and fulfil your dream of studying at this prestigious institution. Then the student needs to appear for a personal interview and if they pass that, they can enrol in IIT.

So if you do not have the time to take the GATE exam, you can take these steps so as to fulfil your dream of getting enrolled in IITs and NITs for furthering higher education.
