Introduction to Ceramics and Cement Engineering: Eligibility, Syllabus

07Oct,2020
By Editorial

Cement and ceramic technology is one of the newly emerging branches of engineering. Ceramics and Cement Engineering is the science of creating objects from inorganic and non-metallic objects using heat, lowering temperatures etc. Ceramic Manufacturing is one of the latest engineering specializations that involve the design and production of ceramic materials for use in various industries. As one of the latest engineering areas, analysis is one of the most critical aspects of this field. The Ceramic Engineering Curriculum focuses mainly on the manufacture and production of ceramics. This includes the production of nanocomposites ceramics. The program also prepares learners for the processing aspect of ceramic production and its properties. In terms of materials, one knows about thermal properties as well as about elasticity, stiffness, crack resistance, and creep as well as resistance.

As far as architecture is concerned, students will learn about the different construction concepts of material properties, fracture analysis, Weibull statistics, and ceramic stiffening.
