One of the major updates for the medical aspirants is here! The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the NEET PG 2021 Examination is postponed till further notice. The National Medical Commission (NMC), the head medical regulator has decided that it is the matter of conduction of NEET-PG 2021 is being considered by the UG & PG Boards of the Commission which is going to be in consultation with the stakeholders.

The NBE has released a provisional schedule for PG Medical Exams that is conducted by it. As per the previous schedule, NEET PG 2021 was going to be held on 10th January 2021, and the NEET MDS Examination 2021 on 16th December 2020. The date of the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) Entrance was supposed to be held on 4th December 2020 while the date of the DNB Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test (DNB PDCET) 2021 was decided to be held on 28th January 2021. However, the NBE has now released an open public notice declaring the deferment of the provisional schedule.
What Is NEET PG Examination:
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a qualifying exam for the medical aspiring students. This exam is conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE). A total of 114 medical colleges and institutes take part in this examination.
Exam Pattern:
NEET PG 2021 is going to be held in 162 cities across India in a computer-based mode. Through NEET PG 2021, 6102 government, private, Central Universities, Deemed Universities, etc will invite admission into 10,821 Master of Surgery (MS) seats, 1,979 PG Diploma seats, and 19,953 Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats.
The Examination pattern of NEET PG 2020 includes a total number of 300 objective type questions for which each candidate will be given three and a half hours.
The application process for the exams will commence soon, so the candidates who have not applied for the NEET PG, are now able to register for NEET PG 2021 until the last week of November 2020.

Here is the procedure to apply for the NEET PG 2021.
- Go to the official website natboard.edu.in
- then tap on the ‘application process link’.
- Upload the necessary documents like education, birth certificates.
- Do the Payment against the application fees.
- Click on the 'Submit' button.
- Download the application form and take a print out of the form for any further reference.
The new date for conducting NEET PG 2021 has not been released by the conducting body as yet.
