Teerthanker Mahaveer University was established under the ‘Act’ No. 30 of 2008 of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. It has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in the year 2008. The University sticks to the ethics of Lord Mahaveer - Right Knowledge, Right Conduct, and Right Philosophy in all the spheres of activity. It organizes many activities that focus on making the campus a haven of a world-class education center. The University offers an ideal environment for the nourishment of the students by its experienced faculties. TMU aims for the overall development of students so as to help them acquire the ability to analyze, adapt, and become a qualified professional with a good career profile.

Placements : 

The placements are really good over here. Many companies like Maruti Suzuki, Tech Mahindra, and many more come to the campus for recruitment. The best part of this college is that they try that all students get placed. Most important thing is that college arranges group discussions, personal interview practices before the recruitment drive.

Most of the students got placed in 2019. One of them got placed in VOLVO for a package of Rs.7,20,000 per annum. 

Infrastructure :

The infrastructure at TMU was quite awesome. It looks that you have come to a 5-star hotel when you visit the campus for the first time. There is a total of 144 acres of area in which TMU is made on. The hostels at TMU are very comfortable and spacious with the utmost respect given to the privacy of the hostilities. TMU has developed a microstructure for the development of the student's academics, strengthening of culture, being physically fit, etc. There are five hostel campuses- 2 for boys and 3 for girls with the strength to shelter 4600 students at a time. Students can take rooms for single occupancy as well as on a sharing. Each room is provided with beds, study tables, wardrobes, and air-cooler. Othe facilities also include  24x7 power back-up to help students in their study without interruption. Each hostel is equipped with a large visitor’s room, and comfortable seating layout, recreational facilities like television, equipment for indoor games, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a gymnasium. 

The University offers career-oriented courses for UG, PG, and Doctoral degrees across various streams, like, Engineering, Law, Paramedical Sciences, Physical Education, Medical, Dental, Management, Pharmacy, Agriculture Science, Architecture, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Hospital Administration, Education, Polytechnic, Journalism, Fine Arts, and, Jain Studies to meet rising aspirations of the generation

Faculty : 

Teerthanker Mahaveer University offers more than 17 courses. Some of them are B.Tech in Computer Science, mechanical, civil, electrical, electronics and communication engineering, and also MBBS, BDS, B.Pharma.,D. Pharma, B.Sc. Polytechnic and many more. There is sufficient faculty for each and every course that no class is left without a faculty.

Each year cultural fests are organized by every college at the college level. And event named ROCK ON is held every 3 years at the university level where every college participates. Sports events are also held and many events are organized regularly.
