Manipal University Entrance-2019 Details:
The Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU OET)-2019 has been started. This entrance is particularly conducted to offer admission to various UG & PG courses. Through this entrance, you can admissions into Engineering, Pharmacy, Applied Sciences and many other courses. MU OET is a university level entrance exam which is conducted every year by the University. And this is a gateway to get admitted into various affiliated institutions of the university. Admission in MBBS/BDS/MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCH will be done through NEET Scores.

MU OET Application Form 2019:
The candidates those are interested to apply for the MU OET Entrance are advised to fill and submit the form before the last date of application.
- Candidates have to apply online to fill the Manipal University application form 2019.
- The online application has been started from 10th October 2018.
- The last date to fill and submit the Manipal University application form for B.Tech courses will be 15th March 2019.
- Candidates have to fill the required details and upload the signature and photograph.
- The filled-in application form along with DD has to be sent to the address given below:

Application Fee:
- The application fee is Rs. 600/- (for all courses) & entrance test fee is Rs. 1400/- (for selected courses) for general category.
- Foreign /International/ NRI / NRI Sponsored category candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 2500/-.
- The application fee can be paid through credit card/debit card/internet banking.
- In case of application fee paid through DD, it will be made in favour of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, payable at Manipal, Udupi.
Manipal University Slot Booking/Admit Card:
For MU OET 2019, candidates must have an online test booking password. Candidates have to select the exam centre and exam date & time.
A confirmation mail will be sent to the email address after the candidate has booked the schedule through the Online Test Booking System. After that candidate can print their MU OET admit card 2019.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates have to fulfil the minimum Eligibility criteria to appear in Manipal University Online Entrance Test. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for various UG and PG courses from the university website.
Minimum Marks in MU OET: It is necessary for the candidates to score minimum 50% marks in MU OET to be eligible for the counselling.
Age Limit: There is no minimum age to apply.
For B.Tech:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidate should pass the 12th class examination from a recognized board.
- Subjects: Applying candidate should have Mathematics, Physics and English as a mandatory subject along with Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or any technical vocational subject.
- Minimum Marks: 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
For M.Tech:
- Qualifying Exam: Applying candidate should have BE/B.Tech or AMIE or any equivalent degree.
- Minimum Marks: 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.
- For BBA:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates have to pass 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Minimum Marks: 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam
MU OET Exam Pattern:
For B.Tech/B.Pharma/Pharm.D:
- Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through online mode.
- Duration of Exam: The duration of the exam will be of about 2:30 hours.
- No. of Questions: 200 questions will be asked in the exam.
- Types of Questions: Multiple choice questions (MCQ) will appear in the exam.

For M.Tech:
- Mode of Exam: The exam will be held through online mode.
- Duration of Exam: 1:30 hours will be provided for the complete test.
- No. of Questions: 60 questions will be asked in the exam.
- Types of Questions: Multiple choice questions (MCQ) will be asked in the exam.
- Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
- Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

MU OET Syllabus:
Manipal University will provide the syllabus for each course on their website. Candidates can check the syllabus as per the course opted by them. However for B.tech course, the syllabus will be comprised of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and General English include questions based on the 10+2 syllabus followed by major 10+2 Boards/Universities.
MU OET Result:
The results will be declared on different dates for all courses. Candidates can view their result through online mode form the fourth week of May 2019.
On the basis of the result, the authority will prepare the merit list for each programme. On the basis of this merit list, the candidates will be called for the counselling.
MU OET Cut Off:
MU OET 2019 cut-off will aware the candidates regarding marks required to be eligible for the admission. The closing ranks will be considered as cut off for each course. The cut off will be published after each round of seat allotment procedure on the university website.
Manipal University Counselling 2019:
To participate in the counselling, candidates have to select their counselling venue at the time of slot booking of the exam. The admission will be organized through offline mode at the prescribed venues.
Candidates will be allotted the seats on the basis of ranks secured by the candidates in the MU OET 2019 exam. Candidates have to bring the required original documents for the verification.
