The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has mentions in its press release of 15th April 2020 that The National Defence Academy(NDA-I) Examination has already been postponed till further intimation. A decision on the NDA –II Examination will be posted on June 10, 2020. The National Defence Academy (NDA-I) exam which is to be held on the 19th April 2020 that exam is postponed due to the COVID-19 out break. The new exam date will be notified by the university soon on its official website.

The NDA-II 2020 exam which schedule to be released on the month of April 2020 that also postponed and new dates will be posted on June 10 by the UPSC.
About NDA:
NDA Exam is an examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice a year (once in April and once in September) for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The approximate number of candidates selected through each exam for National Defence Academy is about 339 (208 for Army, 39 for Navy and 92 for Air Force) and for 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme Naval Academy, the numbers advertised was 44. Candidates who fulfil the requirements stated may fill up the NDA online application form. The requirements are Candidates who have Physics, Chemistry and Maths can choose in all three Services – The Air force, Navy and the Army. If someone wants to apply just for the Indian army, then they just need to be a 12th Class pass in any stream of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
