GMAT 2020 Schedule

The GMAT 2020 exam dates and the dates of registration are pre-decided by the authorities. Students can check the available dates from the official website and can book an exam slot by registering for the exam. Any aspirant irrespective of any discipline can apply for the exam, but it's advised that students should check the eligibility of GMAT before the registration. This is one of the exams that is conducted around the year, making it one of the distinctive entrance. GMAT 2020 Admit Card

The aspirants can download the admit card from the official website. The steps to download Admit card is mentioned below:

  • Visit the Official website. 
  • Click on the Admit card link on the website.
  • Provide personal details like Name, Email ID and Password, last name, and country details and click on the tab "Create Account".
  • A unique id will be generated after completing the process of providing details. Students are requested to keep it safe for future use.
  • After the completion of the process, students receive a confirmation letter which can also be treated as GMAT Admit card/Hall ticket.

GMAT 2020 Syllabus

The course curriculum for GMAT includes Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning. Analytical Writing Assessment 
In this section, a passage will be given to the students to read, then they have to answer certain questions after reading the passage. It's done to check the student's understanding of capacity. This section is very lengthy and it also needs the skill of reading and understanding the context at the same time. The section is further divided into two groups:-

Argument essay
Students have to analyze and present their arguments for a given statement. The aspirants will be examined based on their reasons supporting their argument.

Issue essay
The section asks the students to write an essay of 600 words on a particular topic. Candidates have to write it in support or against the issue given with proper justification. This is done to check the writing skill of the candidate.

Integrated Reasoning
The questions asked here are aimed to test the aspirant's overall ability to understand and analyze different types of information related to verbal, graphical, and numeric. The sub-sections are mentioned below:

Table Analysis:
In this section, students will be asked to sort and analyze a given table of data. It can be a spreadsheet to determine certain information.

Two-Part Analysis:
Complex problems will be asked to students to analyze the skills. The students have to solve a questionnaire comprising of verbal, quantitative, or both. The format can be very dynamic and difficult.

Multi-Source Reasoning:
Students will be asked questions with multiple tables, text passages, graphics, or a combination of both. This section is in the multiple-choice based format in which the answer can only be derived after careful analysis of the data.

Graphics Interpretation:
The section consists of graphical images like pie charts, bar graphs, scatter plots to examine a student's ability to analyze information and find out the asked relationships or interfaces.

GMAT 2020 Exam Pattern

In this section, the question pattern of the entrance examination is discussed in a brief format. It is a computer-based test with a total duration of 3 hours 30 minutes. GMAT Exam Pattern is comprised of both subjective and multiple-choice questions. The questionnaire is divided into 4 sections Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning with a total of 90 questions. GMAT 2020 Cut-off

The conducting authorities of the GMAT Examination do not have any cut-off procedure. Rather the universities accept admissions based on the marks secured by the aspirant. Students with good marks have better chances of getting a reputed college for admission.

GMAT 2020 Application-form

Interested candidates can apply for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT exam) any time around the year. All they need to do is choose the appropriate date for the exam slot as per their convenience. Its always advised that students should book their test slot 3 - 4 months before the exam. GMAT Slot Booking:

The number of aspirants for the exam is increasing each year, generally, in the month of November, the crowd gets higher. Therefore it is mandatory for the students to check the schedule properly and book the test slot at least 3 - 4 months prior to the desired date.
Applicants can also book their by calling the GMAT Customer Service but, they have to pay a surcharge of 10 dollars for the same. Candidates can also submit their request through postal services by providing a cheque of the required amount drawn in favor of the authorities.

Rescheduling and Cancelling GMAT Exam:

If the student desires to cancel the examination then it should be done before 7 days of the GMAT 2020 Entrance Examination. After the cancellation of the exam, students will receive a refund of 80 dollars. 
By paying 50 dollars students can also reschedule their exam date before 7 days of the date of examination. However, students can also reschedule their exams within those 7 days by paying a fee of 250 dollars  
Rescheduling and Cancellation of the GMAT 2020 Entrance can be done via phone and online. It's notified that student cannot change their exam date on the day of examination. The basic difference between Rescheduling and Cancelling GMAT is, in the case of rescheduling students have to pay 10 dollars as a surcharge and 50 dollars for rescheduling.

GMAT 2020 Counseling

Only the candidates who have secured marks above the cut-off range as stated by the college or university will be invited for the counseling rounds. Before the exam, students will have the option of choosing the college or university as per their preference. The maximum choice is limited to 5, but if the students wants he/she can apply for colleges with paymne. Many institutes at first prepare a preliminary list of students but the final selection will be based on many factors like easy writing, work experience, statement of purpose, and letter of recommendation.
Some foreign business schools like the top universities of the USA and Canada have many other requirements like the TOEFL scorecard is also required along with the GMAT Score. The requirement of each and every institute differs as per their admission process. There are many business schools that also conduct personal interview rounds, group discussions, or both. This generally done to select the best candidates for their college or institute. 

GMAT 2020 Result

Students will receive their results within 3 weeks from the date of their exam. The result will be sent to the candidate's registered email id, by the conducting authority. Candidates should download and take a print of it for future use. Graduate Management Admission Council will send the marks secured by the candidate to all the colleges which he/she had chosen. The selected candidates will be then invited for the counseling rounds by the respective colleges or universities.

GMAT 2020 Answer key

The conducting authorities of the GMAT Examination do not provide any answer key. Students will get their results after 3 weeks of examination through email. 

GMAT 2020 Eligibility

Attempt Limit:
Any registered candidate can appear the exam 5 times a year, whereas the minimum gap between the exams must be 16 days. However, the total attempt limit for any candidate is 8 times in a lifetime. Yet, the aspirant has to wait 5 years for the next attempt if the candidate had scored 800 i.e. full marks in the previous attempt.
