Commissionerate of Common Entrance Test (CET), Maharashtra releases the NEET cut-off every year for admission into MBBS degree at various Medical colleges of Maharashtra. The cut-off is the minimum rank/mark required to participate in the college's admission process. The NEET Cut-off for Maharashtra is released for 85% seats in government medical colleges and 100% seats in private medical colleges of Maharashtra.
The NEET cut-off is for two types,
- State Quota (85%). For state quota seats the conducting authority is CET
- All India Quota (15%)-All India Quota seats, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the conducting authority. MCC is also responsible for the cut-off for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats.
NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is the biggest and only entrance exam for MBBS degree admission into all India's govt. and private medical colleges. NEET 2020 exam was conducted on 13th September at a total of 2546 exam centres across 155 cities in India. The exam was conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based test) for a duration of 3 hours with maximum marks of 720.
