Last-minute tips to excel in SNAP 2020

Planning

One must dedicate the days before the SNAP exam to prepare what they should attempt and what they should leave. It is not advisable to read anything new at this point. Just make plans as to what you will attempt in the exam. If you have a clear idea, solving the paper will be easy.

Target your weakness

Before sitting for the main exam, you must take SNAP mock tests. That will help you to know the strengths and weaknesses. Focus on your weaknesses beforehand. Since you know the strengths, focus on the weak points and improve them.

Increase speed and accuracy

Speed and accuracy are very pivotal in cracking SNAP 2020 like the other exams. During the exam, attempt only those questions that you are completely sure about. Giving a wrong answer will lead to a 0.25 mark deduction. For the SNAP 2020 exam, one will expect you to solve sixty questions in an hour. This means you can devote one minute per question. Hence it is not wise to spend more time on a question you are not sure about. If you cannot solve it in a minute, move to the next question.

Focus on the basics of grammar

Since this is the last moment before the exam, it is very difficult to practice the verbal ability section now. What you can do is you can brush up the basics of grammar. This will enable you to keep the concepts clear and help you to solve questions in SNAP 2020.

You can practice reading new phrases, idioms so that you can handle better this section and score great marks.

Stay updated about the latest happenings

At the last moment before the exam, focus on the news events of the past two months. It is not a good idea to focus on all the events of the previous months. This is because at the last moment, remembering so many events will not be possible.

Revise the analytical and logical reasoning parts

Revising the analytical and logical reasoning sections before the exam is a good idea for the students. Do not start anything new. If you have left any section during the last few months of preparation, leave that section for now.

Be calm and confident

Remaining calm and confident is the key to scoring well in the SNAP 2020 exam. Go through the instruction manual in a proper manner. It might be that you might find the question paper to be difficult. But do not panic. Keep your calm and be confident. Attempt those questions that you are very sure about.

These are some of the last-minute preparations that you must know about before you sit for SNAP 2020.
