Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level online entrance test, conducted by NTA, for facilitating institutions to select candidates for admission in all management programs approved by AICTE.

This test is all about evaluating the candidate’s ability across various segments such as Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness. The CMAT score is approved by all AICTE-Approved Institutions or University Departments or Constituent Colleges and Affiliated Colleges.

CMAT 2022 Schedule:

CMAT 2021 Admit Card:

The admit card for CMAT 2021 is released online mode by NTA on its official website. The admit card will be made available for eligible candidates from 24th March 2021 The candidate can get their admit cards by logging in to the official website of NTA with their enroll. ID and Password. A copy of the admit card will also be sent to the candidates' registered email-ID.

The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the Admit Card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination.

• Candidates must carry the admit card, passport size photo, and any one of the photo Id proof to the exam center.
• The candidates shall report at the exam center 2 hours before the commencement of the exam.
• Candidates shall not be permitted to the center after the exam started.
• Candidates should take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall on their allotted seat.
• Candidates are advised to strictly follow the instructions. 
• Candidates are not allowed to carry any baggage inside the Examination Centre.
• Candidates can not leave the exam hall without special permission of the Centre Superintendent.

CMAT 2021 Exam Pattern:

CMAT 2021 Cut Off:

The cut off is the minimum mark required by the candidates to qualify the entrance exam. The cut off mark for CMAT 2021 varies as per the participating institute. During the application submission procedure, the candidate needs to apply for their desired institutes separately. After the result declaration, the participating institutes will release their respective cut off marks. The candidates need to score the same or more than the cut off mark to be eligible for the admission procedure.

CMAT 2021 Application Form:

NTA has closed the registration for CMAT 2021 on 3rd March 2021 on its official website. The correction window has been open from 4th to 7th March. The registration for CMAT 2021 has been started on 12th February 2021. The candidates have to apply for the entrance exam online on the official website of NTA CMAT.

CMAT 2021 Counselling:

The counselling session for CMAT 2021 will start soon after the declaration of the result and the shortlist of the candidates. The eligible candidates will be required to register themselves for the counselling session. The candidates can register by visiting the official website. The candidates will also be given the option to choose their desired college and course. They have to report at the assigned college with their original documents for the document verification process.

CMAT 2021 Result:

According to the notification, the authority has decided to publish the result in the pdf format through online mode. Results will be announced in the form of All India Merit List & State Merit List. The CMAT merit list 2021 will indicate the candidates roll number, rank and the score of all the candidates.

CMAT Score Card 2021

Candidates, those names in the merit list, they can download the scorecard The scorecard will be issued through online mode on the official website. No separate scorecard will be sent to the selected candidates by email or by post. The CMAT 2021 score card will be valid only for one year.

CMAT 2021 Answer Key:

The answer key for CMAT 2021 will be released soon after the commencement of the entrance exam by the National Testing Agency. The answer key will be made available on the official website of NTA CMAT. The notice regarding the answer keys also says that the candidates who are not satisfied with the answer key can also challenge the official answer key by filling up the respective online form along with the required processing charge.

CMAT 2021 Eligibility:

The candidates are required to go through the CMAT 2021 eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance exam. The candidates need to qualify for all the criteria to be eligible for the entrance exam.

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

• The candidate must have graduated from any discipline from a recognized institution with an aggregated mark.
• The candidates appearing for the final exam of their graduation are also eligible for the entrance exam.
• The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
• There is no age limit for CMAT 2021 entrance exam.

For reservation category:

• 15% of seats for SC candidates
• 7.5% seats for ST candidates
• 27% seats for OBC candidates
• 10% seats for GEN-EWS candidates

A: CMAT offers a higher success rate than CAT. The level of difficulty in CMAT is lower with respect to the CAT. Also, more than 2 lac candidates take CAT each year, raising the competition level.

A: Shift 1 - 9 am to 12 pm & Shift 2 - 3 pm to 6 pm

Q: What is the mode of the examination?
A: The examination will be in online mode, i.e. Computer-based.

Q: Is there any negative marking in this examination?
A: Yes, there is a negative marking of 1 mark for every wrong answer.

A: Yes, the students appearing for the final exam enroll their names for CMAT.

Q: How many sections are there in CMAT?
A: There are 4 sections and 1 section has added in CMAT.

Q: Can students from abroad apply for CMAT?
A: No, students from abroad cannot apply for the CMAT. But if they have received the citizen of INDIA certificate then they can apply.

Q: What are the Maximum marks awarded for every right answer?
A: For every right answer a maximum of 4 marks will be awarded.
