Sometimes it is not easy to short out all the problems alone, that's why strong guidance is very important. The guidance may be a teacher or internet or books. Strengthen the weakness part create confidence for preparation.

Start With important Topics:
Smart studies always work rather than hard work. Students are advised to check the previous year paper and questions thoroughly. After taking the brief idea about the questions and related topics, students should start their preparation by taking those topics with the first account. It does not mean you only focus on that topic, you have to cover all syllabus mentioned in the official notification.

Practice and Revise Simultaneously:
CAT syllabus consists of 3 sections Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. So overall CAT syllabus is vast, it is very important to do practice and revise simultaneously otherwise you can not cover all things before the examination.

Set Down to Make A final Strategy:
Only taking a mock test is not going to improve your standard rather than to set some proper plan for the exam. Every student should create their final strategy before attempting the examination. Some strategy is given below:

1. Section to start with.

2. Time allotment for each Section.

3. Time allotment for each question.

4. Plan for doing short question rather than a lengthy question.

5. Maximum utilization of short tricks.

Check CAT Website on a Daily Basis:

The most important things to remember is dates and times. Students who appear the CAT exam, it is compulsory for him or her to check the official website on a daily basis. If there will something change in the date and time or pattern or syllabus, you can directly get the information from the official website.

Give Time to Other Exams You will Appear in:

It is very important to clear about, what if you will not select for CAT. Concentrating on one thing is very genuine but keeping some backup with you is very necessary which may take you to lead. If you are preparing for CAT that doesn't mean that you have only focus on the CAT side by side you have to prepare for MAT, XAT, etc as somehow the pattern is the same.
