Civil Law is the most famous specialization in the stream of Law. Civil law deals with the cases of divorce, child custody, property ownership, disagreements of contracts, personal and property damage. In civil law, the wrongdoer has the chance to accept his/her mistake or settle a dispute by paying compensation. This brings justice to the culprit legally. There are four types of civil law namely tort, Contract law, Family law and Personal disputes. The cases that do not involve the breaking of Criminal laws come under civil law. To pursue the civil law program, students should be well-qualified & have sufficient knowledge about the Constitution and the legislations. 

The courses offered in civil Law are undergraduate(LLB)  and Postgraduate(LLM). LLB is a 3-year degree course and LLM is a 2year Postgraduate course. The course fees for both are 10.00 to 2 Lakhs and 3 Lakhs to 10 10 Lakhs respectively.
