Common Admission Test (CAT) is one of the most popular entrance exams for MBA conducted by IIMs. If a candidate didn’t score well in the CAT exam then he/she doesn’t worry about for because there are a lot of B-schools who take candidates with low CAT marks.
Keeping a good score in CAT exam may take you to the first step towards the admission procedure but it doesn’t mean that you get admission for the MBA course. If you missed the application form of above or you didn’t score well from of above exam, you still have an option of taking MAT exam. The MAT exam is being conducted 4 times a year and most of the good MBA colleges accept the MAT score for MBA admission.
The admission procedure not entirely depends upon the CAT marks but also that in 10th and 12th along with graduation CGPA or percentile that allows a candidate to secure a place in one of the top MBA institutions.
