National Law University Delhi (NLU-Delhi) has announced the new exam date of AILET 2020 (All India Law Entrance Test) which is 2nd August 2020 from 10 AM to 11.30 PM. The registration for the exam ends on 30 June. The exam was originally scheduled for 31st May but was postponed due to the nationwide lockdown. The exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode and in case any problem arises while conducting the exam, the University also has the possibility to conduct the exam in an online AI-enabled remote proctored examination. The admit card for the exam will be available from 24 July onwards

Steps to Apply

- Click on "AILET Admissions 2020"
- Click on "Online Application Form"
- Create a new account by providing necessary details
- Fill the application form
- Upload scanned images of photo and signature
- Pay the application fee through debit card/ credit card/ net banking
Application Fee
- General: Rs. 3050/-
- SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities (PD): Rs. 1050/-
- Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST Category are exempted from application fee.

Eligibility Criteria:
B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) (Five-Year Programme)
Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2) or equivalent examination in any discipline with 50% marks. Students appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April 2017 can also apply.
Age: Applicants should be below 20 years while appearing the exam (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates). Class 12th appearing candidates are also allowed to apply for the exam.
LL.M. (One year)
Aspirants should complete LL.B. or an equivalent degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability). Candidates appearing in the final year exam of LL.B are also eligible to register for AILET 2018 exam.
Ph.D. Programme
Applicants having an LL.M. Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability) are eligible for the examination.
All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is a university-level entrance exam for admission to B.A. LL.B (Hons.), LL.M, and Ph.D. programs. NLU Delhi is the organizing body of AILET. This is a national level exam which is conducted once a year for various law courses. The exam helps candidates get admission into various UG and PG law courses at National Law University, Delhi.
