The most popular engineering entrance, Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2021 was scheduled to conduct its April session on 27th April. Due to the exponential surge of COVID -19 cases across the country, the exam has been postponed. Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal, “Nishank” has tweeted regarding this, "Given the COVID situation, I have advised National Testing Agency (NTA) to postpone the JEE (Main)–2021 April session. I would like to reiterate that the safety of our students & their academic career is Ministry of Education's and my prime concerns right now”. All the students are advised to visit the official NTA website (www.nta.ac.in) OR (https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/) for the latest updates related to the exams.
Looking at the present scenario of the COVID-19 pandemic government is concerned about the safety and well-being of the candidates along with the examination functionaries, JEE Main 2021 exam is postponed. NTA said that the revised dates for the JEE (Main)-2021 April session will be notified at least prior 15 days before the examination.
To avoid the mass gathering and traveling the examination authority has taken this step. Though the student will suffer for the delay of the entrance conduction, we can't deny the fact that “Safety First”. We need to cooperate with the system in this adverse situation.
