SRM

SRM stands for Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Institute is a deemed university as per UGC that is considered to be among the top-ranking universities in India with over 2600 faculties and more than 20000 students across all the campus. It has six campuses across the country at Vadapalani, Amravati, Ramapuram, NCR, Gangtok, Sonepat. 

It provides a diversified range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in the field of management, engineering, health sciences, medicine, and science & humanities. SRM conducts SRMJEEE 2021 entrance exam and the last date to submit the application form is 31st May.

Scholarships

SRM offers scholarships to students under several categories on merit as well as those who need it. A few of them are mentioned among all the scholarships: 

  • There is a fee concession of 50% for meritorious students with above 95% in State Board or CBSE examinations.
  • There are free books, tuition, hostels & mess, and a stipend of INR 1000 per month to the topper of any state or national entrance exam under the scheme of Founder’s Scholarship.
  • Students who are economically challenged will get 25% to 100% tuition fee relaxation based on their performance in the qualifying examination.

VIT

In the year 2020, VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology), is ranked 15th by the NIRF ranking of Engineering Institutions. It has good placement stats for 7 years that have been recorded in the ‘Limca book of records’ for the highest number of recruitments through placements done from a single institution by IT companies. It has four campuses across the country at Vellore, Chennai, Amravati, and Bhopal.

VIT academy fees totally based on student's ranking. The selected top 100 students who have their scores well in VITEEE are offered scholarships. If students get a good score then they will have less fee, with nominal hostel & mess fees. Apart from that, the Central and State board toppers are offered a 100% tuition fee waiver for all four years.

MIT

MIT stands for Manipal Institute of Technology that is among the first self-financing colleges in the field of engineering in India. It provides several undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering streams. This college holds sponsored research programs backed by different funding agencies like CSIR, AICTE, DST, and the Ministry of Environmental Sciences.
