AIIMS MBBS 2020 Admit Card:

The admit card for AIIMS MBBS 2020 is expected to release on the 15th of May this year. The admit card is a mandatory object for the entrance exam. No candidates will be allowed to appear in the exam without the admit card. The candidates also have to bring one of the original Photo ID Card for the identity verification process. The candidates are advised to keep the copy of the admit card until the final admission procedure.

AIIMS MBBS 2020 Entrance Mark Distribution:

AIIMS MBBS 2020 Cut Off:

The Cut off is the minimum mark required for candidates to qualify the AIIMS MBBS 2020 for the further admission procedure. The candidates are required to score the same or more than the cut off mark to be eligible for the entrance exam. The cut-off is determined by the organizing authority of the entrance examination i.e. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Students who will qualify the cut-off criteria will be called in for the counselling rounds.

AIIMS MBBS 2020 Application Form:

The application form for AIIMS MBBS 2020 will be available on the official website from 4th week of  November 2020. Interested candidates can check the official website to get the application form. The application form will be made available until 14th January of 2020. The basic registration will be over on 14th itself. However, after the changes in the application form, the final registration along with the complete payment will be conducted from 21st of February and will conclude on 12th March at 17.00.

Steps of Application Process:

In order to apply for AIIMS MBBS the students has to go through 4 stages of application process. The four stages are as follows:
1. Basic registration
2. The status of registration
3. Code generation
4. Final registration

The step by step guide for the application process is mentioned below:

Basic Registration

Step 1: Generation of Registration Id
1. Go to aiimsexams.org
2. Click on “Academic courses”
3. Select “MBBS”
4.Click on “Proceed”
5. The applicant is redirected to the PAAR – Basic registration page
6. In new basic registration zone, select “Click here for new basic registration”
7. Read the instructions carefully and click on “Proceed”
8. Basic Registration form opens on the screen
9. Fill in the details in the relevant boxes
10. Check the details carefully as these cannot be changed past this stage
11. Mark the checkbox after reading the declaration
12. Click on “Generate registration Id and password”
13. System generated registration Id is displayed on the screen
14. Applicant must note down this AIIMS registration Id
15. The applicant will receive the registration Id and password on his/her registered mobile number and Email Id
16. Click “Ok” to proceed to step 2

Step 2: uploading images

1. The applicant is redirected to PAAR – Basic registration page
2. This time applicant has to use the applicant login zone
3. Login using the registration Id and password
4. A pre-filled form appears on the screen
5. Check the details and choose “Proceed” to continue
6. To edit the details choose “Edit”, make the desired corrections and select “Proceed”
7. Upload the photograph and mark the checkboxes before clicking “I agree”
8. Repeat the same process for signature and thumb impression
9. Read the declaration carefully
10. Click on “Submit”
11. The registration form opens on the screen
12. Applicant must save and print this page for future reference 

Checking the status of the basic registration of AIIMS 2020 and making changes if required

1. Login using the applicant login zone
2. Check the status of the basic registration (accepted/ rejected)
3. Proceed toward the code generation if the registration has been accepted
4. If the AIIMS registration has been rejected, the applicant can resubmit the application using the correction window
5. The details which caused the rejection will be marked in red
6. The applicant can change the fields that are marked in red (details prefilled and marked in grey cannot be changed)
7. After making the desired changes, check the AIIMS application form once again
8. Click “submit”
9. The applicant is redirected to the confirmation page

Code generation for final AIIMS registration
Applicants whose basic registration has been accepted can proceed to the final stage of the AIIMS application process.
Steps for generating the code for final registration
1. Login using the registration Id and password
2. Click “Generate Unique Code”
3. Choose the desired course from the drop-down list
4. Verify the details mentioned on the screen
5. Click “Generate”

Final Registration
1. Go to the official website of AIIMS
2. Login using the registration Id, RUC and password
3. A pre-filled application form appears on the screen
4. Click “Proceed to Step 4”
5. Choose the medium of the examination
6. Enter details of 10+2 or equivalent
7. Click “Proceed to Step 5”
8. Choose the desired mode of payment
9. Pay the AIIMS application fee
10. Save and print the payment receipt
11. Click on “Proceed to Step 6”
12. Choose the preferred exam centre from the drop-down list
13. Proceed to Step 7
14. Save and print the application form of AIIMS
15. AIIMS 2020 is now complete

AIIMS MBBS 2020 Counselling:

The counselling session for AIIMS MBBS 2020 will be followed by the declaration of result. After the declaration of the result, a merit list will be prepared by the authorities on the basis of the performances of the candidates. As per the merit list, candidates will be intimated for the counselling session.

Steps for Counselling Process:

The counselling for AIIMS MBBS 2020 can be divided into the following steps for a better understanding-

Step 1:- Registration

Candidates need to register themselves on the official website to be able to apply for the counselling of AIIMS 2020. After the registration process is complete, a candidate Id and password is generated.

Step 2:- Filling the preferences 

This step follows successful registration for the counselling of AIIMS 2020. Candidates have to log in to their registered accounts and follow these steps –

a. Click on “Make Choice”

b. To add choice, select the preferred AIIMS institute

c. Now click on “Add Choice” 

d. To remove a choice, click on “Delete” option next to the drop-down

e. After filling in the preferences, click on “Save”

f. The website prompts you to recheck your preferences, and confirm the choices

g. Choices once submitted cannot be changed

Step 3:- Allotment result for the mock round of AIIMS counselling 2020 

On the basis of the preferences filled by the candidates who have registered on the portal, AIIMS seat allotment list for the mock round of counselling is prepared.

Step 4:- Final submission of campus preference Candidates are given a final chance to edit or change their preferences before the final seat allotment list for AIIMS MBBS 2020 first round is prepared. Candidates who fail to fill in the preferences for the first round of AIIMS counselling 2020 will not be considered for the second round of counselling as well.

Step 5:- First seat allotment list for AIIMS MBBS 2020 

A final list of the candidates selected is prepared and displayed on the website.

Step 6:- Accept or decline the allocated seat 

Those who make it to the first seat allotment list of AIIMS 2020 have to choose whether they want to accept or refuse the seat allotted to them. For this, they need to log in to their registered account and choose from the following options –

Option 1 - Candidate wishes to continue with the seat allocated to him/her, and does not wish to participate in the further rounds of AIIMS counselling 2020.

Option 2 - Candidate accepts the seat allocated to him/her, but would like to participate in the next round of AIIMS MBBS counselling 2020.

Option 3 – Candidate refuses the seat allocated to him/her, but wishes to participate for the next round of counselling of AIIMS 2020.

Option 4 – Candidate refuses the seat allocated to him/her and also opts out of the next round of counselling for AIIMS 2020.

Step 7:- Report to the Institute for verification of the documents -

Once a candidate accepts the seat allocated, he/she has to report to the allotted AIIMS for the verification of the documents. Failure to report to the institute will lead to the forfeiture of the seat allocated and will make the candidate ineligible to participate in the next round of counselling. The candidate can, however, participate in the last or open round of AIIMS 2020 counselling.

Documents that need to be carried to the allocated AIIMS -

Aspirants of AIIMS MBBS must carry the following documents for verification to the AIIMS allotted. Candidates will be given admission to the said institute upon successful verification of the documents only.

AIIMS MBBS 2020 Result:

The result for the AIIMS MBBS entrance exam will be declared on the official website. Those candidates who have appeared in the entrance exam will be able to check their result by logging in to the official website. The result is expected to be released on the 18th of June. Those who will qualify for the admission procedure will be able to find their roll no on the website. There will be no intimation from the authorities for those who will be unsuccessful in the exam. However, they can retrieve their marks/percentile scores from the website.

The answer key for AIIMS MBBS 2020 will be made available for the candidates soon after the commencement of the exam. The answer key will be released online on the official website. The candidates who have appeared the exam will be able to download the answer key by visiting the official website. The answer key will help the candidates to check their performance as per the official answer key and evaluate their scores.

If any student is not satisfied with the answer key then he or she challenge the answer key with valid proof of documents. In this case the student has to select the answer to be challenged with in the stipulated window given by the organizing authority. In this process the student has to select the answer to be challenged and upload the documents to justify the answer key challenge. Organizing authority will do the necessary changes if required and the final answer key will be  published after the necessary changes are made.

AIIMS MBBS 2020 Eligibility:

The candidates are required to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance exam. The candidates are advised to be aware of all the eligibility criteria set by the exam conducting authorities.

Here is the list of eligibility criteria to apply for the exam.

Nationality

1. Aspirants should be of Indian origin

2. They should belong to Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) category and must be registered under Section 7A of Indian Citizenship Act 1955

3. Aspirants belonging to foreign nationals’ category must be nominated by the Indian Government.

Educational qualification

1. Aspirants must have passed Class 12th board or equivalent examination of 10+2 education system recognised by AIIMS Delhi

2. They should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects in 10+2

3. Aspirants belonging to General and OBC categories must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of above subjects

4. Aspirants belonging to SC, ST and OPH categories should have obtained at least 50%

Age Criteria

1. Aspirants should have completed a minimum of 17 years of age as of December 31

2. There is no upper age limit for AIIMS MBBS 2020.

A: No. The option to choose will be given to the candidates during the counseling procedure.
