Management Aptitude Test or MAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA), for admission into various MBA/ PGDM programs. MAT exam scores are considered in more than 600+ B-Schools in India. Students, who have completed their graduation in any discipline, are only eligible for appearing MAT exam.

MAT Exam Dates:
MAT 2020 exams are held four times a year; February, May, September, and December. All India Management Association (AIMA) conducted Computer Based Test (CBT) MAT 2021 on February 20, 2021. MAT Paper Based Test (PBT) will be conducted on March 6, 2021. Also the Internet-Based Test (IBT) MAT 2021 application process is available till March 9 and the exam will be conducted from March 8 to 13, 2021.

MAT 2021 exam pattern, as presented by AIMS, includes 5 sections in the question paper, in which a total of 200 MCQ-type questions are asked. For every correct answer, one mark will be awarded, and for each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

MAT 2021 Preparation Tips:
Students get an ample amount of time for MAT 2021 preparation as it is conducted four times a year. Its preparation can be managed by self-study as the question paper gets easy to moderate to the difficulty level. Here is the list of tips one should follow before appearing for MAT 2021;
- Practice previous year's question paper, as MAT question paper has remained unchanged for the last few years. So it's a great advantage for the students to practice them. Also, they can refer to the MAT practice questions and sample papers with solutions as they are good referrals for MAT exam preparation.
- Make a study routine, because it will help the aspirants to study in a more organized way and practice every subject uniformly.
- One should be thorough about the MAT exam pattern and MAT syllabus to crack the MAT exam paper with a high score. Candidates may then find the best MAT exam study material such as MAT preparation books, MAT sample papers, MAT practice books, and MAT previous year papers.
For Data Analysis and sufficiency, candidates need to first, analyze the data, then interpret it, and then choose the right answer. If one question takes a lot of time, keep it to attempt in the end in the remaining time, and move on to the next question.
For Language Comprehension, one must practice various unseen passages to makes it easy for themselves to find the answers well on time. Candidates also need to increase their vocabulary by reading the newspaper, different books, etc.

This paper might seem easy but can be tricky as well. It mainly consists of verbal and nonverbal reasoning questions like Blood Relations, Statement & Conclusion, Series and Assertion & Reason, Matching Statements, Analogies.
Mathematical Skill is the most crucial part of MAT 2021. It mainly consists of Quantitative Ability. Candidates need to be very thorough about the concepts and practice every day at least some questions. Prepare notes on formulae and fundamentals, understand them well and attempt related questions. Also, know about some tricks and how to solve questions as fast as possible.
For Indian and Global Management, candidates must read the newspaper, books, magazines, and GK books and also get regular updates about the Current Affairs. In this section, candidates can score abundantly, only if they have prepared well.
