After the first high cut-off now, Delhi University has come out with its second cut-off list to various undergraduate courses. The DU UG admission based on the second cut-off list will be conducted from July 4 to 6, 2019.
Talking about Hindu college. The seats for BA Hons Political science in Hindu College got filled at first cut of 99%. Hindu College had set out the highest cut off at 99% for academic session beginning from 2019. However, admission in the same course is closed for second cut off.
In the same college, the Cut off for BCom Hons is marked at 97.75 % while it was as high as 99% during the first cut-offs.
Over 23,700 students have been admitted to the Delhi University after the first cut-off list according to DU Officials with experts predicting that there will be a marginal decrease in the cut-offs in the second list.
Following are the documents required at the time of admission:
The applicants shall be required to produce the following documents in original with two sets of self-attested photocopies at the time of admission:
- Class 10 Certificate (Mark-sheet or certificate) indicating date of birth and Parents' names* (The names of applicants claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/EWS/CW/KM must match with the names that appear on the corresponding reservation certificates; similarly their parents' names must match in both sets of certificates)
- Class 12 mark-sheet
- Character certificate(recent)
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS/CW/KM Certificate (in the name of the Applicant) issued by the competent authority. (The names of applicants claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/EWS/CW/KM must match with the names that appear on their corresponding School Board qualifying certificates; similarly, their parents' names must match in both sets of certificates)
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of the Applicant) issued by the competent authority and wherein the caste is in the OBC central list issued by http://ncbc.nic.in. (The name of the applicant claiming reservation under OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) must match with the applicant's name as it appears on their corresponding School Board qualifying certificates; similarly, their parents' names must match in both sets of certificates)
- EWS Certificate from competent authority certifying the applicant can claim reservation under this category. (The names of applicants claiming reservation under this category must match with the names that appear on their corresponding School Board qualifying certificates; similarly, their parents' names must match in both sets of certificates)
