Syllabus
The main step towards preparing for the NEET SS exam is to be aware of the syllabus of the exam. The syllabus of NEET SS consists of several subjects as per the course that the candidate has applied for.
The candidates also need to prepare for the several topics in the two papers:
Paper A:
- For the super specialty courses multiple feeder broad specialty courses, then paper A will consist of questions from all of them.
- If there is just one single feeder broad specialty course, then paper A will comprise MCQ questions from only one broad specialty. For example, for MCh Urology the only feeder broad specialty is MS/ DNB General Surgery where part A of the Urology question paper will have questions from General Surgery only.
- Part A will contain questions from all the eligible specialty courses in the case of multiple feeder broad specialty courses. For example, Pediatrics, Respiratory Medicine, and General Medicine are the eligible feeder broad specialties for Cardiology where part A of the Cardiology question paper will comprise questions from these three feeder broad specialty courses.
Paper B:
- The paper B carries 60% of the total marks.
- All the questions or topics of PG Exit level will be covered from clinical practices and applied basic sciences related to the super specialty.
